Organizing My Scrap Space

Well! I created my own scrapbooking blog...not necessarily to post layouts I create..though hopefully will some day...but share things that I find that I love about scrapbooking.

To start with, I am going to share about my endeavor to organize my scrapbook SPACE. It is a small nook in my bedroom that I have so far, put a desk in. It will continue to be a work in progress as funds are tight right now and will be for a while...but getting it out and getting it organized will not only let me know what I have, it will be much easier for me to spot and work with. I am WAY behind in scrapbooking, so I think this will help me to start catching up.

At Target, I found a great 7 Drawer Craft Cart for my Paper...Get this though...each drawer is actually a sealable container!! SO, I load each drawer with specific theme paper...work on it at home, then, if I want to go crop at a store, I just pull the drawer out and take it with me! It was on sale for $26.99 and I wish I would have bought a second one. I have TONS of paper and already filled up the first one... The sad part is...my paper is not grouped how I want it yet, due to lack of drawers and TOO MUCH paper! I won't need ANY for a long time!

I also got a cubby shelf unit with four cube drawers to go in it in pink and tan. (My colors in my bedroom are primarily pink and tan) This will hold...I'm not sure yet. I'm going to get it put together and see what I want to do. It has 9 cubes...4 of which have drawers. I might grab some more drawers if I like how its working out. We will see.

That is all for now....... I have lots of stamps and embellishments to organize and need to figure out HOW I want them. Woo hoo!!! I love this!! I can't wait to start playing in my new space!!!
